About Me

I’ve been a counsellor for over 18 years and worked in mental health for 15. I support people facing many different challenges, from everyday life experiences, anxiety and stress, through to relationship difficulties, loss and mental ill health.

I offer a range of therapy that I believe in and that could suit your lifestyle & values, whether its face-to-face sessions, walking and talking therapy, or online therapy from the comfort of your own space.

My hope is to create a safe, supportive & private environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and develop new coping skills to navigate life's ups and downs.

We all want to know that we matter, we want to know that we are heard and that what we have to say means something.

 Dr Maya Angelou

“Stepping onto a brand-new path is difficult, but not more difficult than remaining in a situation, which is not nurturing to the whole person.”

I am a Person Centred therapist who works in an integrative way - this means I support people based on what they are bringing to the session and what suits their needs.

I bring 18 years of experience in many different theories of counselling. I believe in people knowing themselves best and that my role in the relationship  is to help people navigate what is going on for them and how to balance that out.

Alongside my work, I love living by the sea, pottering about in my garden, walks in the woods and hanging out with my cats.
